There are 7 different rares in Draenor that each drop a mount. The first one we will talk aboit is Nok-Karosh, who is a draenor wolf. He is located in Frostfire Ridge. The spawn locations for him are to the left. When defeated he drops the Garn Nighthowl mount. His level is not announced, it is assumed that he is higher than level 100,because of his instant kill ability, and his health. He spawns every 20 minutes.

I don't know exactly how, but I had a quest to go to Frostfire Ridge to tame a mount, since it was over in Frostfire I decided to shrug it off. The next two rares are Nakk the Thunderer (a clefthoof), and Luk'nok (a type of elephant). They are both located in Nagrand. Nakk the Thunderer is in red on the map, and Luk'nok is in orange on the map. Nakk the Thunderer is level 100 rare elite, and he spawns within 20 hours. He drops the Bloodhoof Bull. Luk'hok is also a level 100 rare elite and his spawn timer is 6-8 hours, and he drops the Mottled Meadowstomper.
The next rare is Gorok (a savage boar). He is located in Frostfire Ridge. Gorok is a level 93 rare elite, and he spawns every 2-8 hours. He drops the Great Greytusk.

Bloodmaul Slag Mines Entrance

The next rare is Poundfist (a gronn). He is located in Gorgrond. Poundfist is a level 95 rare elite, that has a chance of spawning 50+ hours. It is not guaranteed that he will spawn. Some people have waited three days for him to spawn, and sometimes even longer. If you do manage to catch him, he will drop the Sunhide Gronnling.
The next rare is Pathrunner in Shadowmoon Valley. He is a level 93 rare elite. I think he is up all of the time, just not as a rare. You're going to have to catch him when he is a rare. When you do, he has a chance of dropping the Swift Breezestrider.

Slag Mines Wow

The next rare is Silthide (a riverbeast) in Talador. He is a level 97 rare elite, that drops the Sapphire Riverbeast. He is located in the water locations in Talador.
